Never never never sign an associate contract without having a lawyer negotiate it for you.

Updated: Oct 23, 2022

While working at a corporate practice, I've seen dozens of dentists, both new grads and experienced quit. Why?

The answer is simple- they signed a shi**y contract. Everyone gets excited about the new job and signs on the dotted line. We are dentists not lawyers after all.

Meanwhile, the owners of many corporate practices are lawyers, not dentists, and signing without negotiating is exactly what they want you to do.

These contracts are designed to be in the best interest of the practice first. Not you. Business is business.

But imagine more paid time off, flexibility in your non-compete, or a higher production percentage. It’s possible, but it requires tough negotiations from an experienced dental contract attorney.

Whether you are under contract or looking to sign a new contract, InDent’s attorneys can review, give recommendations, and help negotiate with our streamlined system and flat rates.
